Description and Objective

Greyhounds Park game offers the excitement of a top quality dog racing without the need to leave the comfort of your home. The game is dog races simulation, where bets can be placed on up to six greyhounds in up to eight races taking place on a racing track.

You have a chance to bet on a certain combination of race outcomes. Game odds are based upon combination of class, age, weight and previous performance of each dog, race distance and other race parameters. The user can place wagers either on single or composite bets, involving multiple selections. Bets are grouped into several categories including such bets, like single, forecast and tricast, as well as forecast and tricast combinations.

There are 8 races altogether with six greyhounds participating in each. Prior to each race, greyhounds are placed in traps that mark the starting position of the race. At the start of each race greyhounds are released from their traps and, by means of chasing a hare, compete for the first place in each race. Greyhounds wear special dog-shirts or jackets with special identifier signs printed on them. These signs are used to identify a greyhound during the race, as well as for referring it in the race card and result screen.

The game offers high-quality graphics and realistic sound. During the race animation behavior of real dogs is simulated. Wide range of bets and "raisins" like photo finish images make this game a truly unbelievable experience.

Placing Bets

Before you start playing you should place bets. To place bets on a single race, select the desired race using numbered tabs on the left hand side of the Race Bets tab and then choose the dogs you wish to bet on by selecting the corresponding checkboxes in the Race Runners list.

Once you have made your selections, choose the bet types under the Add Bets tab on the right hand side of the screen. Set your stake either by using ‘-’ or ‘+’ buttons near the stake box, or by entering it manually, then click the SUBMIT button. View the Bet Slip tab on the right to see that your stakes have been defined correctly.

To place multiple bets switch to the Multiple Bets tab on the left side of the screen. You will see all 8 races with all the dogs running in them. Just make your choice by using the options provided, and selected bets will be displayed in the Add Bets tab on the right hand side of the screen. Set the stake amount and click the Submit button.

To remove the bets made, click the Clear All Stakes button. You can also select the Bet Slip tab on the right, select a bet you want to delete using the checkbox provided and click the REMOVE SELECTED BETS button below.

Starting The Race

As soon as the SUBMIT button is clicked, a race can be started. To start racing click the START RACE X button. Enjoy the view! If you want to know the result at once without watching the race process, click the Skip button.

Game Result

Each race finish is controlled by the photo finish camera. Three photo finish cards are presented to you at the end of each race. The cards display which greyhound has took the first, second, and third position in a race. By default, the first place card is displayed. The other cards are displayed behind this one. To bring forward another card, click the desired card or a card number at the lower control toolbar.

In the left bottom corner of the screen, above the bet card, race results are displayed. Race results include the list of all greyhounds, which participated in the race, their odds and finish time.

To continue with the game, click the Continue in the right bottom corner of the screen.

Forecast Bets
If you prefer forecast bets there is a possibility to use a special cross reference grid. To display the grid for forecast bets, select FORECAST ONLY option above the Race Runners table in Race Bets tab (left screen form).
Forecast Bets grid is a cross-reference grid crossing the first place greyhounds (vertical selections) with the 2nd place greyhounds (horizontal selections).The meeting point of each pair presents a possible position for a forecast bet. There are 30 unique forecast bet options each presented with a separate cell on the grid. The odds for each pair are displayed in the appropriate positions.
