Viva Las Vegas! The All Day Buffet is Back!

Is it weird that along with casino gaming the thing we anticipate the most on our Las Vegas vacations are the buffets?

We don't think there's anything better than waking up after a long night out - probably sometime in the afternoon, stumbling downstairs to the lobby, throwing down 12 bucks and proceeding to fill our plate with crap that'll hike our cholesterol levels but will soak up all the liquor we consumed.

Buffets are perfect for the Las Vegas lifestyle. Because we all know in Vegas you eat maybe once a day if at all, so it helps to be able to stuff your face as much as possible.

Unfortunately to get the buffets you always have to head to the restaurant between a certain time, and as we all know time has no place in Sin City. So it kind of sucks that we have to follow some buffet schedule.

Well, it appears that trend changing fast. Casinos, in an effort to boost attendance at their venues, are beginning to offer all-day, all-you-can-eat buffets. Yep, now you can satisfy that surf and turf craving at 4 a.m.

The MGM Grand is one of the casinos to recently offer an all-day buffet. When you show up to the hotel all you have to do is pay $29.99 per person (Monday to Thursday; Friday, Saturday, Sundays cost $39.99) and you'll be able to eat all you want for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Or, you can just hang around the buffet all day long - expect to have the staff talk about you behind your back though.

The Stratosphere is offering this as well. They're only charging $19.99 everyday - except Sundays mornings and Friday evenings they charge $24.99. The Excalibur has been offering $25 all-day buffets since February while The Luxor gives you free tickets to Criss Angel's “Believe” show when you pay for their 24/7 buffet. Don't worry; you don't have to go to the Criss Angel show if you don't want to. No buffet is worth that torture.

Las Vegas doing its best to attract customers during a recession and it looks like everyone will benefit. Head to Sin City and get all the sweet deals while you can!
