IGT Gets New Movie Slots
The best thing about slot machines in places like Las Vegas, Nevada is the cool innovative machines it gets. There are Baywatch machines, Titanic machines and anything else your mind can think of. Therefore, you shouldn’t be too shocked that the company International Game Technology is unleashing machines showing two of the most successful movies of the last few years: "The Hangover" and "The Dark Knight."
Imagine, playing a machine where you win money for stealing Mike Tyson’s tiger or knocking out The Joker. And that won’t be all either, the Reno-based maker of slot machines and gambling equipment also planned to announce licensing deals Friday to create new games based on "Ghostbusters, "Godzilla," and "Dirty Dancing," as well as TV hit "American Idol." They can keep "American Idol" we’re on board for "Ghostbusters."
Buffalo Bills Gets Bilingual
It was bound to happen. With such a huge Mexican, Cuban, and Puerto Rican population in the United States, Las Vegas casino company Herbst Gaming has decided to take action. Buffalo Bill’s Resort & Casino, which is 35 miles south of Las Vegas, will be offering bilingual blackjack for anyone who needs it.
Maria Macedo, who manages the bilingual tables, says the new tables are popular. "I’ve been in the business for 26 years, and I’ve never seen Spanish-speaking people playing blackjack like this. It’s unbelievable."
There is no doubt that if Buffalo Bills has continued success more casinos will start offering this service. Expect to see bilingual casino sections in the near future.
Casino Cheat Sentenced After Roulette Scam
Once again, we learn cheaters never win.
Bahram Sahami, 37, used his quick hands to cheat at American roulette by adding or removing chips from the table after the ball had dropped or by stealing other players’ chips.
Sahami pleaded guilty on Oct. 6 to three counts of fraud, three of cheating at gambling and two of theft.
Sahami had been barred at casinos across London but was using false identities to gain access.
It has been calculated that he would gain between £25 and £130 per cheat or theft. Which is almost $50 or $260 when converted to U.S. currency.
This is unfortunate for the other players at that table considering they probably lost cash because of his shenanigans. Luckily, online places like the Bodog Casino don’t have this kind of fraud.
