Free Shows & Attractions in Las Vegas
by Bodog Casino | Jan 6 2010
We're broke. The holidays and all the frivolousness that it seems to bring out of everyone took a heavy toll on our wallet. But that's not going to stop us in 2010 from having a little fun. It won't stop us from taking a trip to somewhere tropical when it gets cold, and it sure won't stop us from heading to Vegas when our hands start to give us that it's-time-to-make-some-money itch.
We just have to be smart when we vacate. Instead of spending $20 per
blackjack hand we spend $10, and instead of spending hundreds on live Vegas shows we find the free ones.
What free shows you ask? There's plenty to do in Sin City that costs you zero, and no - this does not include staring at women on the artificial beaches.
Bellagio Fountains
You've seen them in movies, it's time you see it for real. It's just a water show from the Bellagio Hotel, but it's pulled off in such a captivating way that we guarantee you'll forget all your troubles. See the show from one of the restaurants inside or from the Fontana Lounge as you enjoy a cocktail.
White Tigers at Mirage
No, Siegfried and Roy won't be controlling them, so don't worry about a tiger losing its mind and coming after you. That lions will be half passed out as usual but where else can you see a wild tiger for free besides in the movie Scarface or the Hangover? There will be crowds all around the tiger habitat but be patient and you'll be able to see them at some point.
Circus Acts at Circus Circus
Forget those expensive Cirque du Soleil-ers! You can watch someone do crazy things to their own bodies for free at Circus Circus. We suggest not heading to the show with a hangover though, there will be enough kids running around and making enough noise to annoy the Octomom.
Freemont Street Experience
Grab yourself a frighteningly cheap shrimp cocktail, sit back and watch a parade of lights for not one penny out of your wallet. If this were Disneyland you'd be shelling out the cash just to get in the park and watch, here, you get the equivalent for zip.
The Sirens of TI
We definitely saved the best for last. Head to the Treasure Island Hotel for what is essentially a hot, live, and free all-female version of the Pirates of the Caribbean movies. Hot sirens take the stage and perform in sexy, revealing outfits. Don't ask us to reveal the plot barely realized the girls were speaking.
