Celine Dion's Vegas Comeback

Guys, you won't be able to hide this for long so you might as well just sit back and accept the frenzy that is about to begin. Celine Dion, the queen of Las Vegas, Nevada (and Canada, of course) is going back to the spot that made her extremely wealthy: Sin City.

Dion made $400 million during the five-year run of her original Vegas show. Again, that's $400 million! Why does she even need to perform anymore? With that much money she could clone herself and send Dion-2 to Vegas instead. But we guess the money, the casino games, and the fame in Vegas are just too much to resist.

Those who were lucky enough to check the previous show, "A New Day", during her run know that the thing was nothing buy spectacle and eye candy. 50 dancers doing acrobatics Cirque du Soleil performers would applaud, giant LED screens, trapezes, musicians -- the show was insane. Expect more when she reopens her show on March 15, 2011. The Colosseum at Caesars Palace was built specifically for her so her newer show should be another step up.

So what will be the theme of this show? Classic Hollywood complete with a full orchestra and her doing what she does best, put a sparkle in the eye of every lady who ever cried at the end of Titanic.

So is it only fame and fortune that has her coming back? We would guess yes. But she just finished a world tour in 2009 so either she's super greedy or she uses the money she makes for toilet paper. Three million people checked her last show; expect this show to attract an even bigger crowd this time around.
