Usually, something magical happens when you hook up. The stars must align. The perfect combination of martinis and pints of beer must be poured. The music must be right—just loud enough so you can't have too in-depth of a conversation… just the basics… name, age, drink of choice. The lighting has to be dim enough for you to look good, but bright enough for you to be sure they look good. The booths must be velvet and the vibe must be good. When all these things come together, the next thing you know, you’re making out on the dance floor and well on your way to a brilliant hook-up.

With all these elements coming together so perfectly, the location of the hook-up is a vital ingredient for success. You can't score properly at a sports bar because the smell of buffalo wings is just not sexy. You also can't score a good hook-up at a strip club, because when you're paying for it, it doesn't count. Dive bars usually don't work because your hook-up options have been sitting on those bar stools smoking cigarettes since 1978. So where does one go? Tryst at Wynn

The name says it all. Tryst is a perfect place for those who aren't into pumping dance music. If you've got the gift of the gab, this intimate, cozy and chic club is an ideal location for the smooth talker. It's surrounded by booths featuring bottle service and walls decorated with mirrors and red velvet. While you can't have sex right there in the club, it might feel as if it were designed for just that purpose. With an indoor-outdoor dance floor that extends into a man-made lagoon, it's a fertile place for romance to blossom. There is a definite feeling of being in a magical forest when you enter the grassy lounge areas with a 90-foot waterfall as a backdrop.

The key here is to book a table ahead of time, and be sure to book one in the lagoon area. For those who are confident that they'll be getting lucky, the VIP room is an absolute must as it includes a stage and a stripper pole where your date can show you all her finest moves.

While it can be said that all of the nightclubs in this list tend to have very attractive clientele, Tryst really takes the cake as the hotbed of beautiful women.

Jet at the Mirage

Jet is the main force behind the revival of the Mirage Hotel and Casino. It’s widely considered one of the hippest night clubs in Vegas and is a notorious hotspot for getting laid. Part of what makes Jet a perfect place for hooking up is that it has three different dance rooms so no matter what your taste in music (or women for that matter) they've got you covered.

The key to successfully scoring at Jet is to reserve a table ahead of time. There won't be anywhere to sit otherwise and this way you'll have an edge on the competition by having the luxury of being able to invite women to join you at your private table. So when the dancing gets tired take advantage of the bottle service and your reserved table to take your seduction to the next level.

Light at the Bellagio:

Light is a great place because its theme is centered on one of the key hook-up components, lighting. Light is only an escalator ride away from the bright lights of the Bellagio casino. Once you step off the escalator you still can't see the club. It's only after you walk down a dark, mirrored hallway illuminated only by candlelight that you discover Light.

A sophisticated club where even the go-go dancers are dressed tastefully, the clientele are fairly well-refined and cover a broad spectrum of ages. Light's diverse crowd makes it a great starting point for an evening of looking for love.

Where Not to Go

If you're thinking with your nether regions you might be tempted to go to a place like the Playboy Club. It's a decent club and will be occupied by beautiful women but most of them will be bunnies for hire and will be entirely charming and affectionate until their boyfriends pick them up at the end of their shift.

Also, Body English, while an attractive sounding club that boasts some of Vegas' more famous clientele, is not a great choice. Unless you're Colin Farrell or Justin Timberlake, you'll probably find yourself going home alone.
